About

From a young age (probably 5 or 6) I’ve always been fascinated by stories. And over the years, I’ve dabbled (or more than dabbled) in various art forms to try and express myself.

Actually no, let me try that again. I’m a writer, aspiring or otherwise. No, I haven’t been published (yet), but does that make me any less of a writer? I’d like to think not. Then again so many people claim to be “writers” these days. And AI certainly hasn’t helped (nothing here is written by AI).

More recently (thanks to friend and mentor, Bill Crandall) I’ve gone down a rabbit hole of art house films that have begun peeling away a few layers as I continue on my lifelong search for myself.

People ask me where I’m from. I can never really answer that. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, have lived in the UK and “belonged” to Quito, Ecuador. My ancestry contains Greek, Persian, bit o’ Macedonian. Ethnically, I might be considered Indian. Just call me alien.

Currently living in Nairobi.
